NPD Rx (EIN 83‐0671556)
NPD Rx is a domestic violence advocacy office that provides 6 programs that pick up where county domestic violence hubs leave off – from communication intervention between an abuser and victim to re-construction of a victim’s history in writing so that the court processes do not retraumatize the victim or worse, cause an abuser to shine in comparison to the trauma-affected survivor. NPD Rx offers education in the form of CEU (Continuing Education Units) upon “dark triad” personality disorders that are regularly missed in bachelors and masters level education which is the preparation for CPS evaluators. NPD Rx is an example of an entity that carries forward CONNECT’s exempt purpose to evaluate current social-program-effectiveness and craft and implement solutions.
Voices Set Free (EIN 81-0634495)
The mission of Voices Set Free is to empower children and families impacted by domestic violence and trauma so they are able to thrive and break the cycle of abuse. Voices Set Free offers an ongoing dialogue within the community focused on addressing children and domestic violence, as well as the resources provided in partnership with the Childhood Domestic Violence Association through CDVA’s major resources distribution campaign conducted in 2017. Voices Set Free offers CONNECT the opportunity to partner presentations for continuing education credits that in turn raise awareness of the child-victims of domestic violence (who are victims in their own right, not merely witnesses).
CONNECT (EIN 83-1348199)
Many states have state statutes that regulate certification of any person who interacts with victims of domestic violence or crimes. Most advocates must completed a mandatory standardized 40-hour training *and* is in active employment or volunteering at a domestic violence advocacy office, shelter, healthcare office. This confidential alliance functions to aid advocates and those in the helping professions in educational needs related to community service for victims of crimes. The Advocates Alliance also serve as a support for advocates and allows them to network and discuss how they can best deliver services to survivors of domestic violence, and a spokesperson to speak up on their (confidential) behalf in policy discussions.
